Inspirations
from the Jewish Experience: Holiday Texts and Readings
The
rhythm of Jewish life is determined by its calendar. Throughout
the year, Jewish holidays offer opportunities to celebrate as a
community, contemplate who are, and where we came from, and where
we are going.
The following are a selection of uplifting texts that relate to
each Jewish holiday.

10
Minutes of Torah
Through
an exciting partnership with the Department of Lifelong Jewish
Learning at the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), The Center
for Holocaust and Humanity Education has produced 26 columns
relating to the general topic of Holocaust and Humanity.
Written by Dr. Racelle Weiman and Shoshanna Lockshin, these
columns explore powerful stories and themes from the Holocaust,
and their contemporary messages.
Inspired
by the words of Rabbi Eric Yoffie-"Who among us is so
busy that he cannot spend 10 minutes a day in the study of
a Jewish text?"-each column conveys a thought-provoking
message that can be read in only ten minutes.
