10
Minutes of Torah
Through
an exciting partnership with the Department of Lifelong Jewish
Learning at the Union for Reform Judaism (URJ), The Center
for Holocaust and Humanity Education has produced 26 columns
relating to the general topic of Holocaust and Humanity.
Written by Dr. Racelle Weiman and Shoshanna Lockshin, these
columns explore powerful stories and themes from the Holocaust,
and their contemporary messages.
Inspired by the words of Rabbi Eric Yoffie-"Who among
us is so busy that he cannot spend 10 minutes a day in the
study of a Jewish text?"-each column conveys a thought-provoking
message that can be read in only ten minutes.

Diversity
Training Workshops
The
Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education is dedicated
to confronting contemporary issues facing a post-Holocaust
society. The Center's Diversity Training Workshops accomplish
this objective by tackling prejudice and bigotry in our
communities.
Workshops are available for corporations, community organizations,
and schools. Workshops can be conducted at The Center
or at an outside institution. Workshops are typically
90 minutes to 2 hours in length for a group of 40 - 60
people.
For more information or to schedule a Diversity Training
Workshop please contact chhe@huc.edu |

Speakers'
Bureau
The
Speakers' Bureau at The Center for Holocaust and Humanity
Education offers access to individuals who have been affected
by the Holocaust and the events of World War II: Holocaust
survivors, Holocaust refugees, children of Holocaust survivors,
Jewish rescuers, righteous Gentiles, World War II veterans
and concentration camp liberators. The Speakers' Bureau
can help connect your schools and community organizations
with these people, and arrange to have them address your
group.
Speakers can participate at events anywhere in the Tri-State
area, or arrange to speak at The Center for Holocaust
and Humanity Education in conjunction with a Mapping Our
Tears presentation. Speakers typically address groups
for 1-2 hours.
For more information or to schedule a speaker please contact
