On Sunday, May 6, 2012, Holocaust survivor, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate, and author Professor Elie Wiesel spoke to an audience of over 6,000 students and community members at the Xavier University Cintas Center. Presented by The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education, the evening was a truly historic event.

“Never to be Silent: Student Reflections on ‘An Evening With Elie Wiesel’
Whether through visual arts or poetry and prose, we ask students to explore the impact and significance of Professor Wiesel’s experiences and reflect on how they connect to today. Students can submit their entries to The Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education (CHHE) by May 30, 2012. A first place winner and runner-up will be selected in each of the two categories, and grade divisions (Middle School: Grades 6-8; High School: Grades 9-12). These individuals will be recognized at CHHE’s annual meeting in September. Learn more and download contest submission form.
