Yom HaShoah

This year, the community Yom HaShoah Commemoration will be on Sunday, April 23, 2017, 2:00 PM at the Mayerson JCC.  A moving tribute to remember the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust and honor the survivors.  Program includes a moving candle-lighting ceremony, music and prayer.  Keynote presenter, Dr. Karen Shawn, visiting Associate Professor of Jewish Education at the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration of Yeshiva University, will speak about Holocaust memory and narrative.
