Holocaust Awareness Programs 2010: The Next Generations - The series of events seeks to explore the impact of the Holocaust on descendents of survivors, descendents of perpetrators, and the next generations of genocide: colossal world tragedies occurring in the aftermath of the Holocaust. These programs will consider the future of Holocaust education, and how to keep the survivor’s stories alive for future generations.

3 Works, 3 Centuries, 2 Continents: A Musical Legacy for the Next Generations - Concert - Wednesday, January 27, 7:30 pm @ Plum Street Temple
This unique concert brings together a Jewish American composer with his young German protege, performing songs composed by Jewish musicians in Germany prior to the Holocaust. The concert will also feature music by an American composer, reflecting on the aftermath of the Shoah. This event promises to bring together a diverse crowd for an evening of music and healing.

Our annual Yom HaShoah commemorates the Shoah with a candle lighting, prayer, and a moving program that remembers the lives lost during the Holocaust and honors the lives saved.
