A Reason to Remember, Roth Germany: 1933 – 1942
February 20, 2012 - March 16, 2012
This exhibit shares the personal stories of five families who lived in a small village called Roth, Germany, under Nazi rule. Through photographs, documents, and artifacts, the exhibit illustrates the dismantling of individual lives throughout Nazi-occupied Europe during the 1930s and 1940s. Two local families trace their roots to Roth. Otto Stern, who lives in Northern Kentucky, grew up in Roth. Miriam Raider-Roth is the daughter of Walter Roth, who also grew up in Roth.
