Danny-Cohen-PortraitJoin the Center for Holocaust and Humanity Education and The Mercantile Library for a book talk with Dr. Danny M. Cohen who will discuss his debut young adult novel, Train. The book takes place in Berlin over ten days as six teenage witnesses try to escape the Nazi round-ups. It gives voice to the unheard victims of the Holocaust- the Roma, the disabled, homosexuals, intermarried Jews and political enemies of the Nazi regime.

Dr. Danny M. Cohen is a learning scientist, fiction writer, and education designer. An assistant professor of instruction at Northwestern University, he teaches about the design of Holocaust education, Holocaust fiction, and marginalized narratives of human rights.
