Jewish Israeli Film Festival: The Third Half

10 award-winning films from 10 different countries that will light up screen for a month with provocative, humorous, inspiring and controversial films. The festival features the best of the thriving independent film industry shoring established and emerging filmmakers, as well as a selection of Jewish interest films produced outside of Israel.

Set in Macedonia, a star Eastern Orthodox football player falls in love with the Jewish daughter of a local banker. The two elope in order to avoid Nazi deportation while a famous German-Jewish soccer coach is selected to coach the Macedonian Football Club. When the Nazis arrive in Macedonia loyalties are tested and the team must find the courage to stand up to the new regime.
