Dr. Láníček is an Associate Professor in Modern European and Jewish History at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia. He is currently completing a study of post-Holocaust judicial retribution in Czechoslovakia and also researches Jewish migration to Australia before and during World War 2. Most recently he co-edited a volume on relief parcel programs during World War 2 (with Jan Lambertz): More than Parcels: Wartime Aid for Jews in Nazi-Era Camps and Ghettos (Wayne State University Press).
