With a career defined by integrity, leadership, and a deep commitment to justice, Kathy Brinkman was honored as the recipient of the Upstander Lifetime Achievement Award for her decades of service to the community and dedication to the well-being of others.
A distinguished Cincinnati attorney, Kathy has built an extraordinary career spanning federal and state law. She began her legal career at Cincinnati Gas & Electric before serving more than 20 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney. She later held senior leadership roles within the U.S. Department of Justice, earning broad recognition for her integrity, expertise, and dedication to public service.
Today, as Of Counsel at Porter Wright, Kathy focuses on complex litigation, white collar defense, investigations, and asset forfeiture. Beyond her professional accomplishments, she is known as a dedicated philanthropist, community leader, and advocate for those in need.
