Cincinnati, Ohio — The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center is excited to announce the launch of an innovative audio guide experience, developed in partnership with Smartify, the award-winning cultural app connecting people with art and heritage.

Available to museum visitors starting this month, the Smartify audio guide will enhance guests’ exploration of the Center’s exhibitions, providing deeper insights and personalized storytelling at their fingertips. This innovative guide, which includes 19 engaging stops, invites visitors to explore the museum’s powerful exhibitions.

The new audio guide, accessible through the Smartify app, tells the stories of local Holocaust survivors through immersive stops, allowing visitors to connect deeply with the lives and lessons of those who rebuilt their lives in Cincinnati. Each stop in the audio guide is meticulously crafted to give voice to these survivors and their journeys of resilience and hope.

By offering the new Smartify audio guide, the Center aims to enhance this mission by providing visitors with an accessible, immersive, and easy-to-use digital experience. Through Smartify’s technology, visitors can access exclusive content and insights directly on their smartphones, providing a seamless, interactive experience.

“Through this partnership with Smartify, the audio guide allows us to deepen the educational impact of our museum, fostering personal connections to the stories we tell and the universal messages we share,” said Jackie Congedo, Chief Executive Officer of the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center. “This technology allows the thousands of people who come through our doors each year to enjoy a personalized, in-depth exploration of our exhibits, even without a traditional tour guide. As we prepare for the large crowds anticipated in January with our free admission initiative, this tool will ensure that every visitor has a deeply engaging and memorable experience.”

Using Smartify’s advanced technology, the audio guide allows visitors to seamlessly navigate the museum and learn more about key artifacts, survivor stories, and pivotal moments in history. Smartify’s app, already popular in renowned museums worldwide, makes it easy for guests to access this enriched experience directly on their smartphones.

To access the guide, visitors can simply download the Smartify app, available on iOS and Android, and search for the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center. Once in the app, guests can access the audio guide by scanning artwork or artifacts with their mobile devices.

For visitors who do not have or prefer not to use their smartphones, the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center will provide a number of audio devices available on-site. These devices ensure that everyone can access the new audio guide and enjoy an immersive experience throughout the museum. By offering both personal smartphones and dedicated audio devices, the Center is committed to making this enriching experience accessible and convenient for all guests.
