Museum Remains Open to the Public
Eva Schloss, posthumous stepsister of Anne Frank, to visit in Spring 2022
CINCINNATI (January 17, 2022) In response to heightened concerns around the spread of COVID-19, the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center has postponed two public events this month.
To ensure the health and safety of staff and visitors, the following events have been rescheduled:
- Holocaust survivor Eva Schloss — the posthumous stepsister of Anne Frank — will no longer visit the Holocaust & Humanity Center on January 26. Her in-person event will be rescheduled for Spring 2022. However, constituents are encouraged to tune into her digital presentation during the Holocaust Speaker Series via Zoom on Wednesday, January 26, at 11 a.m. REGISTER ONLINE.
- The performance of American Jewish composer Steve Reich’s “Different Trains,” which was scheduled to occur on January 30 in honor of HHC’s third anniversary at Union Terminal, will also be rescheduled for Fall 2022.
The museum will announce dates of the rescheduled events later this winter.
The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center’s museum remains open Thursdays through Mondays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On January 27, International Holocaust Remembrance Day, HHC will launch the testimony of Eva Schloss within our newest exhibit, DIMENSIONS IN TESTIMONY. Using specialized recording and display technologies and next-generation natural language processing, Dimensions in Testimony allows visitors to ask two-dimensional displays of Holocaust survivors questions and receive responses in real time.
