This special month is dedicated to uplifting the changemakers in our community who embody the spirit of standing up for what’s right.

Upstander Awards

JUNE 2, 2024 6 P.M.

Cincinnati is a place where upstanders shine. Join us for the 2024 Upstander Awards, where we recognize individuals in the region who use their character strengths to make a difference in the community. Enjoy a gala-style event in historic Union Terminal’s breath-taking rotunda featuring a three-course meal, music, art experiences, and a moving awards ceremony celebrating Cincinnati’s best and brightest upstanders. Together, let's illuminate Cincinnati as a beacon of courage, compassion, and positive change. Black tie optional. Valet included in ticket price.

Upstander 5k

JUNE 30, 2024 8:30 A.M.

Shine like an upstander at the Fleet Feet Upstander 5K, which takes runners and walkers on a scenic route throughout the West End and Price Hill. Registrants receive a t-shirt, iconic Union Terminal race medal, free admission to Union Terminal museums, and other swag. Enjoy live music, family activities, breakfast, giveaways, art activations, and a pickleball tournament outside of Union Terminal. Come be a part of the Upstander 5K and celebrate Cincinnati's resilience, unity, and unwavering spirit of upstanding for what's right. Admission to POMPEII: The Exhibition and the OMNIMAX is not included.

Museum Family day

JUNE 30, 2024 10 A.M. - 3 P.M.

After you finish up the Upstander 5K, explore upstander experiences throughout the Children’s Museum, Cincinnati History Museum, the Museum of Natural History and Science, and the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center. Enjoy special activities for children of all ages from partners like the Children’s Theatre, Cincinnati Museum Center, Cincinnati Art Museum, and more! Museum admission is free for Upstander 5K registrants. Admission to POMPEII: The Exhibition and the OMNIMAX is not included.
