Donor Society Connects Cincinnati’s Top Businesses with HHC’s vital mission
CINCINNATI (January 28, 2022) The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center is proud to launch THE BEACONS OF HUMANITY BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM, a donor society that connects top businesses and stakeholders to HHC’s important mission of ensuring the lessons of the Holocaust inspire action today.
When businesses commit to become a member of the Beacons of Humanity Business Partnership Program, their organizations have a direct stake in the exceptional work of HHC while receiving exclusive donor benefits.
“We are honored to launch a program that directly connects our organization with businesses and leaders that care deeply about learning from the lessons of the Holocaust and are committed to combating antisemitism,” said Sarah L. Weiss, chief executive officer of the Holocaust & Humanity Center. “These are businesses that want to inspire their employees to become upstanders – using their strengths to make a difference in our community. HHC is passionate and dedicated to helping teams like yours build a strong, inclusive environment in the workplace.”
When businesses commit to monetary support, they receive benefits including training programs designed for leadership and employee needs, individualized programs tailored to equity and inclusion strategies, private museum tours and experiences, and optimal brand exposure through HHC’s robust marketing efforts.
The new initiative is LED BY THREE CHAIRS, who are the driving forces behind the Business Partnership Program.
- Bret Caller, Co-Founder and Owner of Viking Partners
- Amy Spiller, President of Duke Energy’s utility operations in Ohio and Kentucky
- Joel Stone, Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Fifth Third Private Bank

“I am pleased to be in this role to help expose and educate those who would otherwise be unaware of the horrors of the Holocaust,” Caller said. “It is my hope that by this exposure, history will not repeat itself against Jews or any other minority.”
Current companies that support HHC’s work come from a various industries including investment firms, banking institutions, law firms, and architecture firms. Being a Business Partner supports HHC’s critical work ensuring the lessons of the Holocaust inspire action today. It confirms that businesses stand with HHC against hatred, bigotry, and injustice.
