Holocaust & Humanity Center Welcomes Two New Members to Board of Trustees

CINCINNATI – The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center is thrilled to announce the appointment of two community leaders to its Board of Trustees: Rob Herman, managing principal at The 4100 Financial Group Services (4100FS) and Michelle Hopkins, TV host at WCPO.  

The addition of these board members comes at a crucial time for The Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center as it gets ready for renowned international exhibition Auschwitz. Not long ago. Not far away. to open at historic Union Terminal next month. It also comes amid growing rates of antisemitism worldwide, underscoring the importance of adding these new members’ skills and backgrounds to support the Center’s mission and strategic initiatives. 

“These new board members have been respected leaders in their communities for years,” said Jackie Congedo, Chief Executive Officer of the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center. “We’re incredibly fortunate to have their perspective and insight as our efforts to make a difference reach even further in the coming months, with thousands expected to come through Cincinnati for the ‘Auschwitz’ exhibition.” 

About the new board members: 

Rob Herman is the Managing Principal at The 4100 Financial Group Services. He also serves as the Chairman of GFP Private Wealth and sits on the boards of managers for additional 4100FS portfolio companies. He holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. His community involvement includes board positions and advisory roles with organizations including United Way of Greater Cincinnati and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center Foundation, where he received the Champion Award in 2024 for his work with the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. 

Michelle Hopkins is a four-time Emmy winning journalist, TV host and communications leader in Cincinnati. She can be seen on WCPO’s Cincy Lifestyle, putting a spotlight on extraordinary individuals shaping Cincinnati and beyond. Off-screen, Michelle serves as Community Engagement Director for the Greater Cincinnati Foundation. Her career spans more than two decades in journalism, public relations, and community engagement with organizations such as Cincinnati Children’s and Mercy Health. Michelle was recently named a YWCA Career Woman of Achievement.  

On a personal level, Rob and Michelle bring to the board a shared commitment to inclusion, resilience and understanding. Rob is the son of Holocaust survivors, and Michelle has a lifelong passion for community and for organizations that illuminate the best of our shared humanity. 

“I’m honored to join the Board of Trustees for the Nancy & David Wolf Holocaust & Humanity Center and excited to support the Center’s powerful mission to ensure the lessons of the Holocaust inspire action today,” Hopkins said.
