Nominate an Individual for the Upstander Young Professional & Young Adult Awards. Applications will be accepted through April 29.
Nominate a young individual in the Tri-State region who uses their character strengths to be an upstander and make a difference in the community. These are individuals who use VIA Character Strengths – such as leadership, teamwork, spirituality, kindness, and social intelligence – to impact the community for the better. From leading community-wide service projects to using their career to tackle societal issues, these individuals know the importance of giving back and helping others. They believe in the importance of fighting injustice and unfairness, and they’re willing to stand up for others and speak up when they see wrongdoing. They exemplify what it means to be an upstander.
Individuals can nominate themselves or others.
- A nominee must live, study, or work in Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky.
- A nominee must be 18 to 40 years of age.
- A nominee must be a young individual who has impacted the community through their career, community service, or other work that inspires those around them to become upstanders.
- A nominee’s application will outline clear examples of the way they have made a difference in the community.
